SKUAST-K SKIIE Centre organises entrepreneurship awareness programme
Srinagar, Nov 2: SKUAST-K Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (SKIIE) Centre Shalimar conducted one-day Awareness cum Sensitisation Workshop on IDEA To Startup and Business Model Canvas Program.
A statement said that the event was organised in collaboration with Govt Degree College Dooru Anantnag under the sponsorship by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.
The purpose of the program was to sensitize and aware youth towards opportunities in startups and how to Ideate new and novel concepts to convert them into viable and sustainable Startups in Future.
Chief Executive Office, SKIIE Centre, Naveed Hamid held a session on ‘how to ideate and strategies to take ideas to the next level followed by a session on the role of innovations in the present era by Naik Qayoom, Director of an Agri-Startup.
The Session was attended by 55 unemployed youth from far-flung areas of Dooru.
The Ideation Awareness cum Sensitization Sessions were appreciated by Principal Govt Degree College, Dooru Prof G H Thokar and all Participants and Staff as they were enthralled to listen and see the first of its kind Program on Ideation in their Vicinity.
The Principal Degree College appreciated the efforts of Vice Chancellor SKUAST K Prof Nazir A Ganai and Director Research and DPM and Nodal Officer MSME SKUAST K Prof Haroon R Naik, Naveed Hamid, CEO and Coordinator of MSME Program for conducting such a need of an hour program for creating and building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
