SKUAST-K scientists conduct diagnostic visit to apple orchards

Srinagar, June 5: The SKUAST-K scientists namely Dr Manzoor Ahmad Parry, Professor & Head, Division of Entomology, Dr Rizwana Khursheed, Assistant Professor and Dr Mudasir Gani, Assistant Professor conducted a diagnostic visit to apple orchards of different villages of Shopian and Pulwama district particularly in connection with the infestation of Apple Blotch Leaf Miner (ABLM) on Tuesday.

The team observed that the infestation of ABLM is under control in apple orchards where the adhoc advisory of SKUAST-K was followed and further suggested farmers to follow community-based approach for eradication of this pest.
