Srinagar, Mar 10: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) has successfully wrapped up two specialised one-week E-Management Development Programmes (E-MDPs) that ran from March 4-10.

The concurrent online programmes—”Developing Market Linkages for Effective Agricultural Management” and “Product Development and Financial Management for Enterprise Development”—equipped participants with practical skills for agricultural entrepreneurship and business growth.

The first programme focused on strategies to improve market access and streamline agricultural supply chains, while the second addressed product innovation and financial resource management for sustainable enterprise development.

Featuring expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and case studies, both programmes provided hands-on training in market analysis, supply chain optimisation, product innovation, and strategic financial planning.

Dr SH Baba, Organising Secretary, emphasised the importance of empowering agricultural stakeholders with technology-driven approaches to enhance productivity and market connectivity for improving farm incomes.

Gautam, Dr Ubair Nisar, Dr Farheen Naqash, and Dr Khalandar highlighted how the initiatives foster entrepreneurship while providing participants with tools to develop financially sound enterprises that can drive economic diversification and employment opportunities in the region.
