Škoda Auto India celebrates women's day with drive from Kashmir to Kanyakumari
Srinagar, Mar 8: Škoda Auto India, in partnership with Embarq Motorworld, has launched "The Bold Route Series" — a pioneering women-only, self-drive expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. This Women's Day initiative brings together over 50 women from diverse backgrounds who will drive a convoy of 25 Škoda vehicles across 3,700 km through 11 cities.
The expedition, branded as '#HerŠkodagjRoad', aims to champion road safety, inclusivity, and the spirit of adventure as it traverses from the northern tip to the southernmost point of India.
"Exploration and innovation are at the core of Škoda's legacy. As we celebrate 130 years globally and 25 years in India, we are marking this milestone with impactful initiatives that put our customers and fans at the centre of our journey," said Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India.
The drive will feature women entrepreneurs, professionals, adventurers, and influencers coming together to break stereotypes and redefine the narrative of solo and group travel for women. As part of the government's #SadakSurakshaAbhiyan2025 initiative, participants will engage in road safety awareness campaigns, interact with local communities, and champion sustainability efforts.
