SKIMS Bemina observes National Doctors' Day

Srinagar, July 2: SKIMS Medical College Bemina, Srinagar celebrated National Doctors' Day and Annual College Day.

On this occasion the dedication of the medical fraternity and the academic accomplishments of the college were highlighted.

Chairman Organising Committee Prof (Dr) Imtiyaz Ahmad welcomed the guests and threw light on the importance of the day.

Dr Showkat Ali Zargar Ex Director SKIMS Soura was the chief Guest on the occasion and gave an extensive oration highlighting the journey of the doctor and various ups and downs encountered during one's struggle.

Director SKIMS Soura Prof (Dr) Mohd Ashraf Ganie and Dean Medical Faculty Prof (Dr) Shariq Masoodi were present among other dignitaries.

Principal SKIMS Medical College Prof (Dr) Irfan Robbani shared his views about National Doctors Day and the goals and accomplishments the SKIMS Medical College achieved over the years to become one of the prestigious medical colleges of the UT of J&K.

The function was organised in association with the Rotary Club of Kashmir and many rotarians including the President Rotary Club of Kashmir Mandeep Singh and  Dr Amit Wanchoo participated in the event.
