SIR Kashmir Chapter welcomes new DHSK
Srinagar, Aug 18: The Society of Indian Radiographers (SIR), Kashmir Chapter, expressed immense joy and excitement over the appointment of Dr Jahangir Bakshi as the new Director of Health Services Kashmir.
This announcement follows the recent government order confirming his position, which has been met with widespread approval within the radiology and healthcare community.
Dr Jahangir Bakshi, known for his extensive experience and unwavering commitment to healthcare advocacy, is expected to lead the Health Services Department to new heights. His appointment is seen as a significant milestone for the Radiodiagnosis Fraternity, to which he belongs.

SIR (Society of Indian Radiographers) welcomed the Govt Order for appointing Dr Jahangir Bakshi as the new Director Health Services Kashmir. A meeting of SIR Kashmir Chapter Executive Committee members was held on 18 August.
The EC members Javid Rasool Shawl (Dental College), Rauf Ahmad Laigroo (MRI Section Super Speciality Hospital), Zahoor Ahmad Bhat (SMHS Hospital) Javaid Sultan (Kashmir Health Services) and Bilal Ahmad (SKIMS Medical College, Bemina) expressed their joy as the new Director belongs to radiodiagnosis fraternity. The members were hopeful that Dr Jahangir Bakshi will bring laurels to the department of health services.
"Dr Jahangir Bakshi is having an administrative acumen and is a visionary leader,", said Javid Rasool Shawl. "We are overwhelmed by placement of Dr. Jahangir Bakshi as the new Director Health Services Kashmir," said Zahoor Ahmad Bhat.
