Singham Again shooting begins in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 18:  The shooting of Bollywood movie 'Singham Again ' which is directed by Rohit Shetty began in Downtown on Saturday.

The film crew on Saturday visited Zaina Kadal area in Old Srinagar where shooting for an action scene was done. Noted actor  Ajay Devgn who is playing a lead role in the movie along with veteran actor Jackie Shroff shot the scene on Habba Kadal bridge.

Rohit Shetty who is coming up with his next movie 'Singham Again ' arrived in Kashmir on Friday, with other members including Ajay Devgn and Jackie Shroff.  Sources said that the crew will shoot for next few days in different locations of Kashmir before returning back.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Singham Again’ is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. This is the third installment of Rohit Shetty's popular cop franchise. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh. Arjun Kapoor will be seen essaying the villain in this entertainer. 'Singham Again' is set for a theatrical release during the weekend of Independence Day 2024.

Earlier, Rohit Shetty directed Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Singham’ which was released in 2011, while ‘Singham Returns’ hit the silver screens in 2014 and proved blockbusters.
