Shruti takes over as SP Leh

Kargil, Jan 27: Shruti Arora today took over as Superintendent of Police (SP) Leh district in Ladakh .

This followed after Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) district Leh P D Nitya was relieved from the Union Territory of Ladakh for Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory for further posting.

On January 17, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) had ordered the transfer of two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including P D Nitya.

As per MHA order, P D Nitya, IPS (AGMUT: 2016) was transferred from Ladakh to J&K while Shree Raam R, IPS (AGMUT: 2019) was transferred from J&K to Ladakh.
