Ramban, June 28: The first batch of pilgrims for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2024 was warmly received at Chanderkot by the police and district administration Ramban on Friday morning.

Official sources said DIG DKR, Shridhar Patil, Deputy Commissioner Ramban Baseer-Ul-Haq, Choudary, SSP Ramban, Anuj Kumar, ADC Varunjeet Singh and ASP, Gourav Mahajan extended their greetings and well wishes for a safe and holy journey.

Upon their arrival, the pilgrims were offered a hearty breakfast at a community kitchen established at Chanderkot.

The J&K Police provided numerous facilities to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for the yatris.

These facilities included deployment of access control, ensuring smooth and secure entry and exit. Public address system facilitating clear and timely communication.

High-Tech Security System including the deployment of drones and anti-drone technology to monitor and ensure the safety of the pilgrims.

A dedicated welcome desk was set up to facilitate the pilgrims, providing them with necessary information and support.

The J&K Police have deployed a high-security system to guarantee the safety of all pilgrims during the yatra.

DIG DKR, Shridhar Patil in the presence of DC Ramban, Baseer-ul-Haq and SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar expressed their commitment to ensuring a secure and spiritually fulfilling journey for all pilgrims.
