Shopkeepers arrested in Nowshera | Illicit liquor recovered

Rajouri, Jan 22: Police in Nowshera sub division have arrested local shopkeepers after recovery of illicit liquor from a shop in the area.

On reliable information a shop at Bus Stand Nowshera was raided in presence of a magistrate and two shopkeepers were intercepted. The shop belonged to Vishal Choudhary son of Satpal Chowdhary resident of Chowki and Dhiraj Kumar @Raja son of Sansar Chand resident of Chowki, Nowshera.

During raid, police recovered and seized illicit liquor from the shop. The accused were looking to sell the liquor illegally taking advantage of the dry day being declared in the UT.
