Shiv Kumar posted as SSP Kargil
Kargil, Feb 16: IPS officer Shiv Kumar has been posted as new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kargil.
Kumar will replace another IPS officer of 2017 batch Anayat Ali Choudhary consequent upon his transfer to UT of Jammu and Kashmir from Ladakh. Shiv Kumar was recently transferred to Ladakh on deputation from J&K . IPS officer Shree Ram has been posted as SP Traffic Ladakh. While as Mujeeb ur Rehman has been posted as Additional Superintendent of Police Kargil district.
As per an order issued by the Home Department of UT Ladakh, Shiv Kumar, IPS under orders of transfer from the UT of J&K to the UT of Ladakh, is posted as SSP Kargil vice Anayat Ali Choudhary, IPS (AGMUT:2017). Anayat Ali Choudhary, IPS under orders of transfer from the UT of Ladakh to the UT of J&K, shall be relieved upon the joining of Shiv Kumar, IPS.
Shree Raam R, IPS (AGMUT:2019) awaiting orders of adjustment in PHQ, UT of Ladakh, is posted as SP, Traffic, UT of Ladakh.
Mujeeb -ur- Rehman, JKPS (2008), Dy Commandant IRP 25 Bn with the additional duties of SP Traffic, UT of Ladakh is transferred and posted as Addl. SP, District Kargil vice Ch. Iftikhar Ahmad, JKPS (2008) who is under orders of repatriation to the UT of J&K, is hereby relieved from the UT of Ladakh.
Farhan Jehanzeb Nagash, JKPS (2011) upon deputation from the UT of J&K, is posted as so to ADGP/ In-charge IT, Cyber, PHQ, UT of Ladakh. Regzin Sangdup, JKPS (2011) DySP (Pers) PHQ, UT of Ladakh, is transferred and posted as Addl. SP, District Leh, against an available vacancy. Ishtiyaq Ahamd Kacho, JKPS (2011) DySP-CID, Kargil, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commandant IRP 25h Bn vice Sh. Majeeb -ur- Rehman, JKPS (2008). The officer is also assigned the duties of AIG CIV/ Crime/ Welfare PHQ.
Meanwhile, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil organised a function to bid an farewell to the outgoing Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kargil, Anayat Ali Chowdhury at TFC Bemathang.
During the event, the CEC hailed the contribution of SSP Kargil in strengthening and maintaining law and order in the district besides carrying out various capacity-building programs with the general public. CEC Dr Jaffer said that the outgoing SSP has been a man of principles and his interaction with the masses has remained praiseworthy.
DC Shrikant Suse said the SSP has remained committed to his services and is a thorough gentleman besides his contribution in maintaining law and order in the district has remained commendable, particularly in the recently held LAHDC elections.
