Shemford Futuristic School Birpur Jammu awarded
Jammu, Dec 24: The Shemford Futuristic School Birpur Jammu has been awarded as “Upcoming School of the year” by Indian School Awards 2023.
According to a press release, the ward has been conferred on the school for demonstrating exceptional performance in fostering a holistic learning environment, promoting global citizenship, and implementing innovative teaching practices.
Pertinent to mention that the jury of this award has unanimously selected the only school from Jammu for transforming education and young minds through a noteworthy spectrum of initiatives and efforts that comprehensively enrich the education sphere of the gen next learners, the press release added.
The award was presented by Lieutenant Gen ( Rtd) Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon who attended the function as the chief guest and guest of honour, Vivek Atray, Ex IAS, motivational speaker author. The headmistress, Sushma Choudhary and administrative officer, Ankita Choudhary, Shemford Futuristic School, received the award in the award ceremony held at Chandigarh.
The incharge Principal of the school Sahrish Ismail lauded the efforts of the staff for kindling scholastic and co-scholastic urge within the students, which in turn is a sustained effort to incorporate holistic education in the school curriculum.
