Shark Tank’s Anupam Mittal hails Kashmir’s beauty, says it surpasses Switzerland

Srinagar, Sep 9: Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal recently visited Kashmir with his family and shared stunning glimpses of his getaway on Instagram. Along with pictures and videos, the Shaadi.com founder penned a heartfelt note, saying he dislikes when people call Kashmir “India’s Switzerland.”

“Luxury trip to Switzerland – 10 lacs. Similar trip to Kashmir – 2 lacs. Infinite beauty in your own country – priceless. Everyone calls Kashmir ‘India’s Switzerland.’ I take offence. Switzerland is pretty, but at times, sterile. Kashmir is raw, rustic, ravishing. For decades, fear hid its beauty. But the last few years changed everything,” Mittal wrote.

His post quickly drew reactions from fans, many echoing his sentiments. “Kashmir truly is one of the most beautiful places,” one user commented, while another noted, “Most rich people would still prefer a trip abroad.”

Mittal, known for his candid takes and charisma on Shark Tank India, joined the panel alongside Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal, winning a loyal fan base beyond the boardroom.
