Shameema Firdous visits Karfali Mohalla fire victims, assures full support

Srinagar, Oct 23: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Senior Leader and MLA Habba Kadal Shameema Firdous Thursday visited Karfali Mohalla, Habba Kadal to meet the families affected by the massive fire incident that occurred in the area during the early hours of Tuesday.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Shameema Firdous immediately rushed to the spot to assess the situation and interact with the victims. She expressed deep sympathy with the affected families and assured them of all possible support and assistance, said a party press release.

Firdous has also reached out to the District Administration Srinagar, urging them to initiate immediate relief and rehabilitation measures for those affected. She emphasized the need for timely assistance, including temporary shelter and essential supplies for the displaced families.

She appreciated the Fire and Emergency Services Department, local residents and volunteers for their prompt response in controlling the blaze and preventing it from spreading further.

Reiterating her commitment to the welfare of her constituents, Shameema Firdous said she stands firmly with the affected families in this hour of distress and will ensure that all necessary support reaches them without delay.
