Shaher-e-Khaas traders for augmentation of power infrastructure in Downtown
Srinagar, Jan 23: Shaher-e-Khaas traders have urged the KPDCL to upgrade its services in Downtown.
A delegation of Shaher-e-Khaas Traders Alliance led by chairman Nazir Ahmad Shah called on Aaquib Sultana Waheed Deva, Chief Engineer (Distribution) and apprised her of issues confronting the,
“We requested her to restore the paper billing system as most of the traders as not acquainted with the online billing system. We also sought an amnesty scheme for traders so that they could clear their pending dues. We requested that the practice of snapping the power supply with notice should be stopped. Besides, we sought the upgradation of power infrastructure in Downtown. The Chief Engineer assured to redress our genuine problems,” Shah said.
The delegation comprised Alliance functionaries Omar Gani, Rariq Ahmad and Suhaib.
