Sgr-Leh NH remains closed

Ganderbal, Apr 15: The Srinagar-Leh National Highway connecting Ladakh with Jammu and Kashmir remained closed for traffic movement for the second consecutive day on Monday.

The highway was closed on Sunday after fresh snowfall at Zojila Pass, causing slippery conditions on the road.

Officials said that on Monday, the highway remained closed due to bad weather and slides at several places. They said due to inclement weather, the highway clearance work was hampered.

The officials said that the road clearance work to connect the highway would resume after the improvement in weather conditions.
