“Heavy load carriers are heading towards Kashmir and Jammu in a regulated manner,” they said while giving the current NH update.

Officials said, “Traffic movement remained slow due to the breakdown of a few heavy vehicles; single road and poor (road) surface condition at Dalwass, Mehar-Cafeteria, Ramban, Panthya-Nagarkot, Shalgari, Nachlana and many other places between Nashri and Banihal.”

Meanwhile, the J&K Traffic Police Department issued a fresh advisory for Wednesday stating that subject to fair weather and road clearance, LMVs would be allowed to ply on either side of the highway.
