Sewa Parv 2025: District administration holds mega mutation camps across Ganderbal
Ganderbal, Oct 1: In a landmark initiative under the nationwide Sewa Parv campaign, the Revenue Department of Ganderbal conducted mega mutation camps, grievance redressal sessions, and public service delivery events across the district, bringing governance and land-related services closer to the people.
The outreach was held at 13 locations, drawing over 3,500 participants. Designated attestation officers, including Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars, provided on-the-spot services. During the camps, more than 550 mutations were attested in a single day, while various grievances related to land demarcation and documentation were resolved immediately. Additionally, over 100 certificates and services, including RBA, SC/ST, domicile, and income certificates, were issued at the Patwar Halqa level, ensuring doorstep governance.
The camps witnessed strong public participation and efficient service delivery, reflecting responsive and citizen-centric administration.
On the occasion, ACR Ganderbal Dr Salahudin, along with SDM Kangan Dr Nazir Ahmad, personally supervised the camps, interacted with the public, addressed local concerns, and raised awareness about land rights, digital services, and the importance of timely land record updation.
Dr Salahudin emphasised the significance of people-focused revenue governance and assured that the administration would continue to streamline services through such outreach programmes, reinforcing transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in public service delivery.
