Several injured as van carrying yatris meets accident in Chandanwari

Srinagar, June 30: Several Amarnath pilgrims were injured after a van they were travelling in met with an accident in Chandanwari area of south Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

An official said that a van carrying Amarnath Yatri’s met with an accident near Chandanwari area of Pahalgam. He said the pilgrims sustained serious head injuries and were promptly evacuated by the Quick Response Team (QRT) of Border Security Force (BSF) to nearby hospital.

He said due to quick response of QRT many precious lives have been saved.
