Several delegations call on LG Sinha

Jammu, Nov 4: Dr BN Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and briefed him on the ongoing restoration and rehabilitation works being undertaken at the University following the floods that occurred on August 26, 2025, causing significant damage to infrastructure.

The Vice Chancellor also briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the various academic, research, and extension activities being carried out by the University to promote agricultural development in the region, said a press release.

Meanwhile, a  delegation of the Catholic Church, led by Rt. Rev. Ivan Pereira, Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar also called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
