Sericulture Deptt employees express solidarity with Pahalgam terror victims

Srinagar, Apr 23: In a solemn gathering, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, Director Sericulture J&K, today led a two-minute silence to mourn and express solidarity with families of victims who lost their lives in the recent attack at Pahalgam, District Anantnag.

The tribute was observed at the Meeting Hall of the Directorate of Sericulture Development Department J&K, Tulsi Bagh, Srinagar, where officers and officials stood united to honor the departed souls and condemn the act of violence.

Addressing the gathering, Director Bhat expressed profound grief over the tragic incident and reaffirmed the department's condemnation of such attacks that threaten peace in the region. He emphasised the importance of standing together and prayed for strength for the bereaved families.

Two minutes of silence were also observed simultaneously at all departmental establishments across Jammu and Kashmir, symbolising unified mourning and solidarity.

The Sericulture Development Department expressed heartfelt condolences to the affected families and pledged unwavering support during this time of sorrow.
