Selection trials for Senior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship on Jan 4–5

Srinagar, Dec 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Tennis Ball Cricket Association will conduct two-day selection trials for the 36th Senior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship (men and women) at M.A. Stadium here on January 4 and 5, 2026.

The trials are being held to select the J&K UT senior men’s and women’s teams for the national championship scheduled to be held at Nagpur, Maharashtra, from January 19 to 22, 2026.

Interested players have been asked to report at MA Stadium, Jammu, on January 4 at 10.30 am in proper playing kit. The trials will commence at 11 am sharp. Players must bring six recent passport-size photographs along with Xerox copies of their domicile certificate and a physical fitness certificate issued by a registered physician.

The selection process will be overseen by Gulshan Rattan, in-charge of the trials, with his mobile number as 8899936374.

The selected players shall have to attend a 10-day residential coaching camp from 6th to 15th January 2026. The screening of the selected teams shall be held at the same venue after coaching camp on 15/01/2026 at 1:00 pm by the J&K Sports Council.

The UT teams shall leave for Nagpur on the evening of 15th January, 2026. The participants must have played at the district & UT level before representing J&K UT at any national/all-India championship.
