Selection panel to recommend candidate for appointment

Jammu, July 17: J&K government has clarified that the recently constituted Search-cum-Selection Committee will only recommend candidates for appointment as Technical Member (State) for the GST Appellate Tribunal of the UT Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, to the Government of India.

“The mandate of the Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted in terms of Government Order No 891-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated March 22, 2024, shall be “to recommend candidates for appointment as Technical Member (State) for the GST Appellate Tribunal of the UT Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, to the Government of India”, instead of “appointing Technical Member (State),” read a corrigendum to an order issued by GAD.
