Sopore, June 23: Mission Director of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Dr G N Itoo, yesterday officially handed over the Seer Jageer Sopore water supply scheme(WSS) to the local residents.

This significant project recently e-inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from SKICC, has been completed at a cost of Rs. 222.54 lakhs. Its primary objective is to ensure reliable and safe drinking water for the community.

During the ceremony, Dr Itoo underscored the transformative impact of the Seer Jageer water supply scheme on the residents' quality of life, emphasising that the initiative is a crucial step towards fulfilling JJM's vision of providing access to potable water to every rural household.
