Security situation reviewed in Mahore, Chasana area
Jammu, July 14: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi Mohita Sharma Sunday visited Police Posts of Malikote, Tulli Banna and Police station Chasana to review the current security situation, address local challenges and enhance community safety.
ASP Reasi, SDPO Mahore, DySP Ops and DySP ESU Reasi accompanied her.
Aim of the visit was to assess “preparation for dealing with the anti-national elements and to devise robust strategies to counter emerging challenges.”
During her visit, SSP Reasi thoroughly assessed the security dynamics of the region and reviewed the ongoing operations at Police Posts of Malikote, Tulli Banna and Police Station Chasana.
On-the-spot directions were given and instructions were imparted to the police personnel stationed there, emphasizing the importance of proactive policing and community collaboration.
SSP Reasi also met the personnel involved in the ongoing operation to boost the morale of the police personnel, recognizing their dedication and encouraging them to continue their diligent efforts.
In addition to the security review, she also rewarded the brave-hearts who participated in the Saab Gali operation at Chasana, acknowledging their courage and commitment.
In her address, SSP Reasi reiterated the role of police in maintaining peace and security in the region.
She further added, “Reasi Police is committed to providing a safe and secure atmosphere across every nook and corner of the district and anyone attempting to disturb the peace and tranquillity will be dealt with strictly and with an iron hand.”
