Security forces launch search operation in Rajouri village

Rajouri, Mar 01: Security forces today launched a massive cordon and search operation in Dandesar village, located in the Nowshera sub-division of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

The operation was based on receiving specific information regarding suspicious movement in the area.

Officials said that teams from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Special Operation Group (SOG) Rajouri and CRPF are conducting the searches.

The forces, officials said, earlier cordoned the area and later launched searches especially in forest area of village.

This operation was going on when last reports were received.

In December 2023, security forces made recovery of arms and ammunition from Lamberi area near Dandesar.
