Security forces bust hideout in J&K’s Poonch; recover IEDs, other war-like stores
Rajouri, May 04: Security forces on Sunday evening busted a terrorist hideout in Hari village of Surankote in Poonch district recovering several Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), other incriminating material.
The operation was jointly conducted by Indian Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police in Hari area of Surankote Sub-Division of J&K's Poonch district.
As per officials, a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched by forces in Hari village during which a hideout established in natural caves was busted.
They said that four to five Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) with different weights, some explosive content in powder form, communication devices, clothes and some other material has been recovered from the hideout.
The recovered explosive material was also destroyed at the site by forces, said officials adding that anti-terror operation is still going on in the area.
