Second body recovered in LJHP canal tragedy, one still missing

Srinagar, July 13: The body of the third victim in the LJHP canal tragedy was recovered on Monday morning and has been identified as Ahmad Bin Khalid, a resident of Hyderpora, Srinagar, officials said.

They said, "Rescue teams are continuing their search for Mehnaz Rashid Shah of Khanyar, a computer teacher and Haj trainer, who remains missing."

The incident, which led to four individuals drowning, saw one person rescued alive, two bodies recovered earlier, and one person still untraced.

Efforts by local authorities and rescue personnel are ongoing to locate the remaining missing individual.
