SEBI hosts investor awareness programme

Srinagar, July 12: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) recently held a successful Investor Awareness Programme at Ellaquai Dehati Bank in Srinagar.

The event, aimed at promoting financial literacy and informed investment decisions, featured a keynote address by Ashwini Bhatia, SEBI's Whole-Time Member.

Bhatia emphasised the importance of understanding market dynamics, investment opportunities, and regulatory safeguards designed to protect investors' interests. The programme specifically targeted local and rural investors, educating them about prudent financial planning and the benefits of a transparent, well-regulated market.
