Scooty rider dies in accident at Badami Bagh

Srinagar, Mar 15: A scooty rider died this evening at Badami Bagh area here after his scooty skidded off the road, officials said.

Local news agency KNT quoting officials identified the scooty rider as Asif Altaf Baba of Pampore. They said he was shifted to SMHS Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Hospital sources confirmed the death of the rider saying he was brought to hospital in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Police have taken cognisance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
