Scooterist dies in Pantha Chowk accident

Srinagar, Mar 21: A scooterist was killed in an accident at Pantha Chowk area on city outskirts.

Officials said the accident occurred near Lasjan bridge at Pantha Chowk. Officials said identified the deceased as Ashiq Hussain Hajam, son of Noor Mohammad Hajam of Nilnagh Gogjipathri area of Budgam district. They said after the accidents, he was rushed to SMHS hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
