School observes Harud Festival
Srinagar, Nov 27: Life School Monday celebrated "Harud Festival" at its main campus at Zaloosa Budgam.
Children from pre-nursery to 5th standard actively participated in the day-long event filled with fun, laughter, and learning.
The festival, which marks the arrival of winter, was a delightful experience for students, parents, and guests.
"We love to participate with our kids and see them perform on such occasions" a parent, Shagufta Parveen said. "This encourages them and they feel confident," she added.
The event saw parents joining their kids in many ways assisting in various activities and engaging in the festivities, creating a sense of togetherness and joy.
The occasion was graced by the Senior Superintendent of Police Mubashir Bukhari while the Chief Medical Officer Budgam Dr Mohammad Ayoub Fateh Khan shared the dais.
The duo encouraged and inspired the students for more such work in future. The day saw cultural performances, art and craft activities, and traditional games, all centered around the theme of "Harud" and beyond. The students showcased their talent and creative skill making the festival a memorable experience.
