Sawmill gutted in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Aug 21: A sawmill was gutted in a fire incident at Tulmulla area of Ganderbal district on Wednesday. Locals said that a fire broke out in a band sawmill in Tulmulla area of Ganderbal on Wednesday and caused massive damage to it.

Fire and emergency services with the help of Police and locals doused the fire. However, no loss of life has been reported in the incident. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. Police are investigating the matter.

Civil Society Tulmulla has expressed grief over the incident and demanded relief and compensation to the affected.
