Chandigarh, Sep 23: Under the leadership of Chairman Rohit Gupta, Sarveshwar Group has cemented its position as a pioneer in organic food and sustainable growth, carrying forward a legacy of over a century in food processing, exports, and allied sectors.

A statement said that the company, founded on principles of quality, innovation, and customer trust, the Group has modernised its plants, built strong supply chains, and integrated thousands of farmers into the organic ecosystem.

From its origins in royal kitchens 130 years ago, the Group today ensures access to quality nutrition even for below-poverty-line families. It has spearheaded projects like the Nomani Gangey initiative in Uttar Pradesh, Mission Organic Value Chain Development in the North East, and organic certification drives in Himachal Pradesh under the RKVY scheme. Collaborations with the Jammu and Kashmir Government for HADP production and Basmati quality promotion, along with FPO support under NABARD, have brought more than 25,000 farmers into sustainable farming practices.

Himalayan Bio Organic Foods Ltd (HBO) and Nimbark, subsidiaries of the Group, have been at the forefront of delivering certified organic products. Their portfolio spans rice, pulses, spices, oils, ghee, herbal powders, juices, and superfoods, available across stores in J&K, pan-India, and international markets.

The newly inaugurated Chandigarh store, opened by Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar, underscores this vision. Praising the initiative, he highlighted the importance of organic consumption in improving public health and promoting eco-friendly farming practices.
