Sartaj Madni visits Khuwdani, seeks immediate relief for fire victims
Srinagar, Dec 14: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice President Mohammad Sartaj Madni on Sunday visited Khudwani village in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district to meet families affected by a devastating fire incident.
During his visit, Mr. Madni interacted with the victims, assessed the extent of damage, and expressed deep concern over the losses suffered by the affected households, said a party press release.
Condoling with the families, Madni urged the district administration Kulgam to ensure immediate relief to the victims. He specifically called for the prompt supply of essential commodities, including rice and other daily necessities, to help the families cope with the aftermath of the tragedy. He also demanded early compensation for the affected families so that they may rebuild their lives.
