Saroori demands probe in Chhatroo fire incident

Kishtwar, May 6: Several structures were gutted in a fire incident at Chhatroo in Kishtwar. Reports said the gutted structures included a religious institute’s building, Panchayat Ghar and residential structure.

Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Vice Chairman and Former Minister, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori in a statement has expressed deep concern over the fire inciden. He alleged that the Fire and Emergency Services Department have kept a non - functional vehicle available there. .

Saroori said that soon after the fire breaks out, and gutted both the buildings which were destroyed due to alleged short circuit in the Chhatroo Darsgah (Madarsa), along with the panchayat ghar building and a private residential house were gutted.
