Sarhad extends relief efforts for victims of shelling
Srinagar, May 9: In the aftermath of intense cross-border shelling in Uri, Rajouri, and Poonch, Sarhad, the Pune-based organisation committed to peace and humanitarian service, has launched a widespread relief initiative to support the affected families across Jammu and Kashmir, a press release said.
At the heart of this mission are three young leaders — Adil Mir, Siraj Khan, and Mushtaq Khoja — all associated with Sarhad, Pune. “Trained in compassion, resilience, and service, these youth are back to their roots to lead relief efforts in their home regions.
These young men had earlier assisted tourists in the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack and are now coordinating volunteers and resources to provide food, clothing, and shelter to displaced families,”the press release said.
