Sandeep Gupta assumes charge as SSP Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Jan 30: IPS officer Sandeep Gupta on Tuesday assumed charge as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal. In a recent government order, Sandeep Gupta was transferred and posted as SSP Ganderbal replacing another IPS officer Nikhil Borkar.

Sandeep Gupta, an IPS officer on his arrival, was warmly received by senior police officers of the district and guard of honour was also presented at District Police Headquarters Ganderbal.The outgoing SSP Nikhil Borkar handed over the baton to the incumbent officer in a brief but impressive function.

On assuming the charge, the incumbent officer held introductory meeting with police officers of the district and impressed upon officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to mitigate problems faced by the people of Ganderbal, an official said. SSP Ganderbal stressed the need for team work and has directed officers to have their doors open always for the general public.
