Samaj Sudhar Committee extends support to Shamima Firdous

Srinagar, Oct 14: The Samaj Sudhar Committee ( Purshyar, Drabiyar and Khardoori- Habba Kadal) has extended felicitations to Shamima Firdous for her election as MLA Habba Kadal.

“We express steadfast support to Shamima Firdous, who has served as MLA for Habba Kadal constituency for the past 20 years. Her dedication and efforts toward the betterment of our community are commendable,” the Committee said in a statement.

It added that in 2013 at the time of the inauguration of the Marriage hall at Kani Kadal, then Chief Minister and NC vice president Omar Abdullah had promised a ministerial position for Shamima Firdous. “NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah during address at Chattabal, recently had also reiterated this. We are hopeful that he will fulfull his promise,“ the statement said.
