Salat-ul-Istisqa offered at Kangan for ending dry spell

Kangan, Jan 17: Amid the prevailing dry weather, Salat-ul-Istisqa, a special prayer to seek an end to the protracted dry spell was offered at Eidgah in Kangan area of Ganderbal district on Wednesday.

To pray for a respite from prevailing dry weather conditions in Kashmir Valley, a large number of people participated in the prayers and sought an end to drought-like weather conditions.

The prayers were led by the prominent personality Molvi Abdul Majeed .

Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid Kangan had asked people to join the Salat-ul-Istisqa  at the Eidgah Kangan to pray for an end to the prolonged dry spell in the Valley.
