Sajad Lone slams J-K CM Omar Abdullah over INDI bloc windup remark
Srinagar, Jan 09: Jammu & Kashmir Peoples’ Conference (JKPC) president Sajad Gani Lone today slammed chief minister Omar Abdullah over INDI bloc windup remark, alleging him of desperate to be associated with BJP.
Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) Lone said: “Now our CM wants the INDIA alliance to be disbanded. he wants to be banded to the BJP. So desperate. But anybody even with a pea sized brain in Kashmir won’t be surprised. We all knew it. The “All others are BJP” discourse was Pre scripted. the smileys are for those who actually believed in the “All others are BJP” discourse. I will not comment on the size of the brain”.
Earlier chief minister Omar Abdullah said that the INDIA bloc should wind up if the alliance was for the Lok Sabha polls only.
He said that it is unfortunate that not a single meeting of INDIA bloc was held for a long time now. “There is no clarity of leadership and agenda in INDIA bloc. The alliance was not forged for a specific period,” he said.
The chief minister added that after Delhi elections, a meeting should be convened to come clear over the agenda and leadership.
