Sajad Lone saddened over death of Bandipora woman
Srinagar, Nov 12: Jammu & Kashmir Peoples’ Conference (JKPC) president Sajad Gani Lone Tuesday expressed sadness over the death of Abida, a resident of north Kashmir’s Bandipora who succumbed to her injuries in Srinagar hospital today. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Abida was critically wounded in a grenade blast took place at a crowded market in Srinagar’s TRC on November 3. At least 12 persons were injured in the attack, who were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.
Soon after the incident, the police and other security agencies launched manhunt to nab the attackers. The police have arrested three persons from Ikhrajpora Srinagar in this connection and claimed the case has been solved.
In his message, the JKPC president Sajad Gani Lone expressed condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed eternal peace to the departed soul, and courage to the family.
“My condolences to the family of Abida Sumaiya, who passed away after sustaining injuries in the TRC grenade attack. My thoughts with the family who have to bear this irreparable loss. A mother of three children. May Allah grant them the courage to bear this loss. May Allah grant her Jannat,” Lone in a message on X said.
