Sajad Lone, Mehbooba Mufti condemn killing of outside labourer in Srinagar attack
Srinagar, Feb 07: Peoples Conference chief, Sajad Gani Lone strongly condemned the Wednesday's attack in Shalla Kadal area of Srinagar, which resulted in the death of a laborer from Amritsar, identified as Amrit Pal Singh, while leaving another non-local, Rohit, injured.
Quoting an official statement, news agency KNS reported that the political leader expressed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of Amrit Pal Singh and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
"Yet another innocent life has been lost in this mindless bloodshed. These acts of violence are reprehensible and have no place in a civilized society. I hope peace prevails and the sanctity of human blood is preserved," lone said.

Meanwhile, former chief minister and PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti also took to social media and condemned the act on her X-handle.
"Condemn the cowardly act of violence that killed Amrit Pal Singh. My deepest condolences to his family & loved ones," Mehbooba wrote.
