Sagar chairs public darbar at Dalgate
Srinagar, Jun 4: National Conference (NC) General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar Wednesday held a public Darbar at Dalgate in the Khanyar constituency, engaging directly with locals to address pressing civic and infrastructural issues.
The Halqa-level Darbar witnessed the participation of senior officials from departments including PDD, R&B, LCMA, SMC, PHE, Revenue, and CAPD. Residents raised various developmental and public service concerns, which were noted for prompt redressal.
During the event, Sagar announced major developmental allocations aimed at upgrading civic infrastructure in the constituency.
These included Rs 90 lakh for improving modal schools in Gagribal, Rs 35 lakh for water supply augmentation in Gagribal, Brain, Nishat, and Nehru Park, and Rs 1 crore for upgrading laboratory facilities and constructing a water reservoir.
Reiterating NCís commitment to grassroots development, Sagar said the party would continue to push for improved education, water supply, and civic amenities in Srinagar.
Locals hailed the outreach initiative, expressing satisfaction over the governmentís responsiveness to their concerns.
