Srinagar, Oct 20: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Ali Mohammad Sagar Monday presided over the Block Office Bearers Meeting of Khanyar at the party headquarters, Nawa-i-Subah, Srinagar.

The meeting witnessed the presence of several senior party leaders, including MLA Hazratbal and Vice President JKNC Kashmir, Salman Ali Sagar, and District President Srinagar Peer Afaq, said a party press release.

The core agenda of the meeting revolved around addressing key issues concerning the Khanyar constituency, particularly reviewing governance and development during the first year of the current assembly term. A detailed discussion was held on priority projects, local grievances, and immediate developmental needs of the constituency.

Sagar emphasised the party's commitment to delivering on its promises and strengthening public outreach. He lauded the efforts of local functionaries and urged them to remain closely connected with the people to ensure timely redressal of issues.

The veteran leader also made a fervent appeal to the voters of Budgam to extend their support to the JKNC candidate in the upcoming by-elections, stating that a consolidated mandate is essential to uphold and advance the people's verdict from the 2024 Assembly Elections.

"The upcoming by-election is an opportunity to reaffirm our collective resolve for democratic empowerment and development. I urge the people of Budgam to stand with JKNC to ensure a stable, representative, and development-driven government," he said.
