Sagar anguished over Khanyar fire incident
Srinagar, Dec 8: National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Sunday expressed sorrow over the devastating loss of two homes, a mosque, and a business establishment in a tragic fire incident in Khanyar.
In a statement he has called upon the district administration to swiftly provide necessary relief and rehabilitation measures to those affected.
He has personally pledged to oversee the rehabilitation process for the affected families and business owners.
Additionally, he has urged the district administration to promptly assess the extent of the damages in order to expedite the compensation distribution process.
“It is imperative that immediate action is taken to support the affected individuals and restore their livelihoods,” he said.
He has also emphasized to the administration the importance of expediting the process for rebuilding the mosque. He has been in discussions with the relevant authorities and mosque management to ensure that this project is given top priority.
On directions of general Secretary, MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar today visited the fire victims at Tabardar Mohalla, Khanyar. He shared the grief of the fire victims and on the occasion provided relief material to the affected.
Meanwhile, MLA Habba Kadal Shameema Firdous visited Mughal Mohalla Chattabal and met the fire victims. She assured them of all possible help and rehabitation.
