Safeena Baig resigns as Chairperson J&K Haj Committee

Srinagar, Apr 12: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has officially accepted the resignation of Safeena Baig from the post of Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee.

“In terms of section of 24 of Haj Committee Act, 2002, the resignation of Ms. Safeena Baig as Chairperson, the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Haj Committee is hereby accepted w.e.f. 24.08.2024,” the official communiqué reads.
