Sacrifices will forever be remembered: LG on Pulwama attack anniversary

Srinagar, Feb 14: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today said that sacrifices in the service of motherland will forever be remembered.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) LG said: “Heartfelt tribute to the courageous martyrs of the heinous Pulwama attack of 2019. Their supreme sacrifice in the service of motherland will forever be remembered. The courage & selfless commitment of our gallant heroes will continue to inspire generations”.

On February 14, 2019, a suicide bomber targeted a convoy carrying soldiers at Lethpora Pulwama on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

The attack claimed the lives of 40 soldiers, and more than 35 were injured, making it one of the most gruesome terror attacks in history of Jammu and Kashmir.
