Rwanda Foreign Minister’s visit strengthens bilateral ties with India
New Delhi, Dec 9: In a diplomatic exchange strengthening ties between nations, Dr. Vincent Biruta, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, embarked on a visit to India from December 7-8.
During the visit, External Affairs Minister, Dr S. Jaishankar, engaged in delegation-level talks with Minister Biruta on December 7. The discussions covered a comprehensive range of topics within the bilateral relationship, encompassing regional and international issues.
Both leaders exchanged perspectives on cooperation in multilateral forums, emphasizing shared interests. The Rwandan delegation expressed appreciation for the inclusion of the African Union in the G20.
The relationship between India and Rwanda is marked by friendship and cordiality, and Minister Biruta's visit is anticipated to inject further momentum into the existing bilateral relations. The diplomatic talks underscored the commitment of both nations to fostering collaboration across various fronts.
