Srinagar, Nov 06: J&K Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Singh Choudhary on Wednesday brought forth the resolution for the restoration of J-K's special status in the third session of the UT's assembly, reports said.
Reports said, BJP's Sunil Sharma opposed the resolution saying, it was not part of the business.

The resolution demanded that the legislative assembly reaffirms the importance of the special status and constitutional guarantees.
It also urged the government of India to initiate dialogue with the elected representatives of people of Jammu and Kashmir for the restoration of special status.
